We are facing a global mental health crisis. It is estimated that 1 in 8 people worldwide live with a mental health problem, often exacerbated by loneliness and social inequalities. In the Lazio region, in 2020, the average number of people served by the Mental Health Departments was 10.6 per 1000 inhabitants.
The Fondazione Di Liegro is dedicated to supporting people who face mental health issues and their families, caring for the person in their full humanity.
To achieve its mission, the Foundation collaborates with public and private institutions in the implementation of projects and research aimed at promoting psychosocial well-being, preventing psychological distress, and spreading the culture and knowledge of mental health.
